Every second of this was a joy to listen to. I've never heard your music before but I'm glad you're back. ;)

Jimmypig responds:

Thanks :D

Yeah I wandered off for a few months, never again.

Amazing work! A fantastic way to spend 2 minutes and 47 seconds.

DanJohansen responds:

Thanks, I normally go longer than 3 minutes, but hey, no point in forcing the length if the track is telling me to stop earlier, glad you enjoyed it!

Great work - I really loved this song. The EQ and volume stuff at 2:43 is very impressive! The melody is great and you have some awesome synths. Did you design them or use presets?
One thing I have to say is that the lead at 1:25 is sorta jarring. Maybe make it quieter.

SP34K3RM4N responds:

Well the lead at 1:25 that you said was jarring was a Sylenth1 Preset it's called "KEY StarChild 2" and the rest of the synths were designed and yes the lead actually was jarring just like "Martin Garrix - Animals with that anthem lead after the xylophone" and i'm glad you liked it.

I read your news post and you said you make all your sounds from scratch. That's really impressive! I've never heard a song like this and I really like it! It's really fast-paced and the sounds are unique and interesting. Great job!

Very pleasant, relaxing jazz song! I really like how the guitar sounds very soft and you layered the percussion very well. I think it would've sounded better if the lead part that started at :56 wasn't so panned to the right. It adds a nice effect but it sounded a bit unbalanced. Overall I really enjoyed the song! :)

Very danceable! I liked the subtle changes in eq as well as the ambient pads. Great loop!

You did a good job, but here are some suggestions:
I felt like the melody starting at :29 could be more complicated. Adding syncopation and faster melodies can make music sound more action packed.
I think this could get repetitive if listened to over and over again during a game. The track at the beginning of the loop should have more variation, or you should add more tracks with more diversity.

Very pleasant, relaxing song. I absolutely loved it. The synths sound like breathing which is really cool.
However, I don't think it sounds like something that would be named 'destroyer.'

SlaughterClub responds:

yeah maybe i should of called it something else just thought it was a bit darkish thanks ;-)

I don't really see how you could prefer unmixed versions of a song, but I didn't let that distract me from seeing that this is quite a nice piece! Like you said, all the parts work together and it has a really nice vibe. I'm digging the melodies and the drum beats are very nice. Looking forward to whatever else you make!

happycrab responds:

Thanks for your reflective feedback! It helps to know a bit more on how others hear things. I've enjoyed your positivity in your music and think that's something we need more of these days! There's so much dark stuff out there but bright music? That's something interesting.

Fantastic! Amazing changes, and like RionHunter said, amazing fusion of two things I wouldn't expect. :)

adieuwinter responds:

Thank you! I'm looking to do another song in this style, perhaps with lighter tones? We'll see...

I've been messing around with music on and off for a while. My main influences are video game music, rock, electronica, and german death metal. I'm no longer doing commissions, but if you'd like to use one of my songs for something, I'd be glad to talk!
