This is awesome, I can't wait to hear the whole thing! There isn't much I can say to improve, maybe make the orchestra a little quieter at 0:22. Really great so far, keep it up!

Stadler responds:

Thanks for the positivity! I have had some issues with the volume and dynamics, but I'm sure I will sort those out soon enough. Glad you like it!

Epic song! I really like the percussion, I'm having trouble figuring out what it is. Amazing choir near the end. I could definitely hear this playing during a movie like Lord of the Rings.

Goran1990 responds:

Thanks, I am a huge fan of those epic soundtracks you find in that type of movies. It was always the thing I enjoyed the most listening and now composing to.

I appreciate your comment!

I really love this song, you are very talented. What instrument is the percussion? It definitely adds to the feel of the music. The instruments also sound very real. My favorite part is at 2:00 where everything is dropped and the piano plays by itself. Great job!

SoundChris responds:

Thanks so much for your kindness! First i wasnt really sure if the break at 2:00 would be a little bit to abrupt - but somehow i liked it and found it surprising. I am glad i was not the only one thinking that way :D So thanks for leaving your thoughts here and a happy new year to you!

This is really an epic piece. I could see this in a movie like "The Hobbit." The percussion and strings go really well together and I like the contrasts between loud and quiet. Amazing Job.

LunyAlex responds:

Thank you kindly!

This is one of my favorite songs, and you played it beautifully!

Musicious responds:

Thank you very much :) I like this song, too.

Amazing! IO can't think of anything that you could do to improve this song. Do you mind if I use it?

DeltaPhoenix responds:

Go ahead, that's what it's here for :D

This is your first song? It's not bad! There are a few strange parts and it doesn't seem to flow through the different voices/sounds. What software do you use? I was just wondering, because it seems to have quite a variety of instruments. I'm also new to sharing my songs on NewGrounds, and posted mine just a few days ago.

I really love this song! I like how it builds up from quiet to loud and multi-layered. The melodies and harmonies are really nice and it is very unique. The distant screams and moans are a little creepy, and the music instrument choice seems a little too high-tech or something for a medieval battle, but that's all that I notice that keeps me from giving you 5 starts.

H2opoloseal responds:

Agent, I know this is a bit delayed, but thanks for the rating! Your commentary was also much appreciated... thanks for listening!

I love 8-bit songs, and this is really great! I especially love the part that starts at 0:36, it makes it more intense and complex. This would be great for a fight in a game, like you said. Well done!

basheman responds:

I'm really glad you think so :)

Very relaxing and smoothly flowing. The higher-pitched instrument seems a little off for each chord, but that might be just me. I love the saxophone parts, it really puts the beautiful background together in a nice melody. Nice job!

AlphaStork responds:

Thanks! It means a lot :)

I've been messing around with music on and off for a while. My main influences are video game music, rock, electronica, and german death metal. I'm no longer doing commissions, but if you'd like to use one of my songs for something, I'd be glad to talk!
